About Me

My photo
My name is Natalie and I love anything to do with card/paper. I have been a papercrafter for many years now and I never get bored playing with all the wonderful products available. I've been married to my wonderful husband Nathan for 35years now and we are still very much in love with each other as the first day we met each other. We have 3 wonderful children and 5 gorgeous grandchildren so we have lots to be thankful for. Since joining Stampin' Up! in 2018 I've grown so much in confidence with myself and I even tackle technology, which for me is a huge step to have taken, but I'm getting there slowly.

Customer Thankyou cards - Queen Anne's Lace

I love this stampset it's so delicate and soft, and I just knew I'd have to make some customer 'thankyou' cards with it. So for all of my customers that purchased from me in the month of March this was the card I sent out to them all. I love to say thankyou for numerous things, customers, friends who are always there, random acts of kindness and many more.........

This is a very simple card to make and I'm going to show you how............

Materials needed:

Basic white thick cardstock

1 piece 10.5cm by the whole length of A4 (UK size) scored at 14.85cm and 15.85cm  - for the cardbase

1 piece approx 2cm x 4cm - for the sentiment

Basic white cardstock

1 piece 10.1cm x 13.3cm - inside of card layer

1 piece 9.8cm x 14cm - front of card layer

Scrap piece to stamp and fussy cut out one of the flower bunches

Bumble Bee cardstock

1 piece 10.1cm x 14.3cm - front of card layer

2020-2022 In color enamel dots

Bumble Bee Gingham trim

Card Instructions

Fold the card base in half.  Where the other score line is this is going to be on the back part of the card and you need to adhere this part to the back of the card once you have adhered the inside of card layer into place (I like to do this with my cards when they are standing this way up as it prevents them from sliding open when stood up).

On the front of card white layer stamp the flower image using 2nd generation of ink and adhere this to the bumble bee layer and then adhere them both to the front of the card base. Stamp another flower image onto the scrap piece of white card and then fussy cut it out using the snips. Using the bone folder give the flowers a slight curve and then using tiny amounts of glue just on the flowers backs and the base of the stem and adhere to the front of the card. Tie a small bow and attach to the front of card using a glue dot. Stamp the sentiment image onto the whte piece of card and then curve the ends up slightly, place glue to the reverse side of it , centre only and adhere to the card. Place 3 x enamel dots using the same colour and that is the card finished. Clean, simple and quick just what we all love when making batch cards.

Hope you enjoyed todays share and you give it a go, you'll be surprised how quick you can make them, all whilst you're having fun too!

Huge Crafty Hugs

Natalie xx
