About Me

My photo
My name is Natalie and I love anything to do with card/paper. I have been a papercrafter for many years now and I never get bored playing with all the wonderful products available. I've been married to my wonderful husband Nathan for 35years now and we are still very much in love with each other as the first day we met each other. We have 3 wonderful children and 5 gorgeous grandchildren so we have lots to be thankful for. Since joining Stampin' Up! in 2018 I've grown so much in confidence with myself and I even tackle technology, which for me is a huge step to have taken, but I'm getting there slowly.

Seascape - #CCC5

Hello everyone and welcome to another Creative colour challenge, where this week the colours are as shown below! Please click on the image below to see all of the other entries and to find out how you too can join in with the challenge and have some fun!

For my card today I chose the gorgeous and cute stampset that I go back to many times, well it is such a cute little stampset after all!
I used a square pacific point card base and then for the inside and outside layer of my card I used the basic white cardstock.
I stamped the speckly image from the stampset using crumb cake ink, I then die cut the 4th largest diorama die out in white, this gets attached to the front of the card after everything is attached to it using dimensionals.
All of the images were stamped and fussy cut out, yes including the coral reef, which I have to confess did take me some time to do, but I love the look it gives to the card!

The seaweed looking image was stamped using 1st and 2nd generation pacific point, the coral reef was using crumb cake and then using a dauber I dabbed some pacific point ink over my image, in places before stamping it onto my card piece, the tiny fish I stamped just using pumpkin pie whereas the large fish I then dabbed again using the dauber with pacific point ink again. The sentiment, which is from the 'Whale done' stampset, was stamped using both pumpkin pie and pacific point ink and then attached using glue.
I'm really pleased with how my card turned out, I think these colours actually look quite good together with this stampset.
Please do jump over to #CCC5 and see what everyone else has made using these colours, grab yourself some inspiration, and then maybe join in with the challenge yourself, I would love to see everyones take on the challenge.
Until next time
