My name is Natalie and I love anything to do with card/paper. I have been a papercrafter for many years now and I never get bored playing with all the wonderful products available. I've been married to my wonderful husband Nathan for 35years now and we are still very much in love with each other as the first day we met each other. We have 3 wonderful children and 5 gorgeous grandchildren so we have lots to be thankful for. Since joining Stampin' Up! in 2018 I've grown so much in confidence with myself and I even tackle technology, which for me is a huge step to have taken, but I'm getting there slowly.

So much happy on a World of good

Well it's tuesday again and I have a really lovely card for you made using two different bundles. 
It's a very easy to assemble card, and you could do it for many different types of occasion.
So let's get started:




Materials needed:


Seaside spray cardstock

1pc - 14.5cm x 21cm scored on the long side @ 10.5cm  card base
1pc - 10.4cm x 14.4cm for raised Happy layer
1pc - 4cm x 9cm for the Happy cut out letters


Whisper white cardstock

1pc - 10.1cm x 14.1cm for inside of card
1pc - 4.5cm x 15.3cm for the white Happy highlight piece
1pc - 1.5cm x 16cm for the sentiment
Scraps for die cutting elements


Misty moonlight cardstock

1pc - 4cm x 9cm for the Happy cut out letters
Scrap piece for die cutting


World of good dsp

5.5cm x 14.4cm for the piece under the raised Happy


Silver foil sheets

Scrap piece for the die cutting



Card recipe:

1. Cut, score and burnish your card base.
2. Cut your piece of dsp and glue to the base of your card base.



3. Cut and glue your whisper white piece for the inside of your card.
4. Die cut your Happy into the piece that is going to be raised on the front of your card.
Now die cut the Happy into the 2 pieces of card that measure 4cm x 9cm and then carefully using your paper snips detach the letters so they are all seperate from each other. You can now glue these letters into place, leaving a small gap between each row.


5. Now die cut the Happy across the whisper white piece that is going to be glued behind the Seaside spray Happy piece of card.


6. Trim the excess pieces from the sides of the card piece, cut your strip for your sentiment, stamp your sentiment and glue to the front of the card piece using the impression that the die cutting has left as a guide, place dimensionals onto the reverse side of it, now glue to the front of your card base over the top of the dsp piece, which will show through your Happy.
7. Die cut all of your elements out, stamping the ones that are stamped before you die cut them out. Glue them together where necessary. Add a few enamel dots and the card is finished.

Butterfly wishes


Hello everyone, I'm coming on quickly to show you all a card I've made for a team challenge today. The challenge was to make a card aimed at an Avid crafter, which is a crafter that has all the tools for crafting and uses it all at once ( bit like me). 
We was asked to include using:
Dies
Punches
Stamps
Embossing folder

This was the card I came up with, and I must say I was quite pleased with how it turned out, so let's get started.

Materials needed:


Coastal cabana cardstock

1pc - 5 1/2" x 11" scored on long side at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" for the card base


Whisper white thick cardstock

1pc -5 1/4" x 5 1/2" for the card front stamped layer
1pc - 5 3/8 x 5 3/8" for inside of card
1pc - Approx 4 1/4" x 5 3/4" for the front die cut piece
Scrap pieces for the punched and fussy cut butterflies


Bermuda bay cardstock

1pc -4 7/8" x 5 1/2" for the front embossed layer
1pc - 7/8" x 2" for the heat embossed sentiment


Card recipe:

1. Cut, score and burnish your card base. The front of the card is folded back on itself so you have half of the inside of the card showing.
2. Cut your whisper white pieces for the front and inside of your card. The piece for the front you can stamp around all of the edges of the card, using the branch stamp. The inside piece you just need to stamp down the edge of the right hand side of the card which shows when your card is standing up. Glue the inside piece into place.
3. Cut and emboss (using the embossing folder) the bermuda bay piece of card, this can be glued flat onto your stamped whisper white piece.
4. Die cut your whisper white layer and stamp the branch image onto it.
5. Cut a strand of the linen thread and seperate it into 3 strands, now using a needle thread each of the strands through 3 of the holes, within the die cut and adhere them to the reverse side using tear n tape. This piece can be mounted onto the front of your main card front using stampin' dimensionals, and then the whole piece can be glued to the front section folded back on itself.


6. Stamp all of your butterflies and punch out the ones that co-ordinate with the punch, fussy cut the other ones. Give them all a little bit of shape and then glue them into place.

Using the stamparatus is the quickest way of punching lots of butterflies out. Punch a template and place on your platform, place the stamps inside the template and close the lid so the stamps stick to it. Now punch out your butterflies and place them into the template. Ink your stamps and press down onto the platform, 2 lovely butterflies and then as many as you want in minutes.

7. Stamp your sentiment using the versamark ink, sprinkle embossing powder over the top, shake excess powder off and then heat set. Glue into place. 
8. Add some pearl basic jewels.
Card done.

Scrimpy July blog hop - All things fabulous



Hello again and welcome to another team scrimpy blog hop, I can't believe it's come around again so quickly. This month the theme was 'Summer' and we all love the summer right! Everything seems brighter and happier in the summer lifting everyone's spirits, so I thought I'd use some lovely vibrant colours today for my card, hope you like it and I'd be really grateful if you left a comment. Materials needed:


Whisper white thick cardstock
2pc - 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" for the front and inside of card.
1pc - 3" x 3 1/2" for the front layer piece
1pc - 3/4" x 3 1/2" for the sentiment
Scrap piece for stamping 3 x flowers for die cutting
Scrap piece for stamping anddie cutting your leaves

Daffodil delight cardstock
1pc - 5" x 10" scored on the longside @ 5" - card base
1pc - slightly bigger than 3/4" x 3 1/2 for the sentiment
1pc - 2" x 10" for the die cut pretty border pieces

Card recipe:

1. Cut, score and burnish your card base. Glue one of your whisper white pieces into the inside of your card, emboss the other piece and glue onto the front of your card.

2. Stamp and die cut all of your leaves, and your flowers ( these are stamped in 3 stages start with the largest stamp, ink off twice then stamp. The next largest stamp you need to stamp off once and then stamp on top of first image. The last stamp you need to stamp directly without stamping any ink off. This gives you 3 stages of colour using just one ink).

3. Before die cutting your borders place adhesive sheet onto the reverse side of your card and then die cut the borders from the front side (this makes it so much easier to adhere your delicate pieces without getting glue everywhere).

4. Now you need to stamp some of your leaves directly onto the whisper white layer that all of your flowers are going to be sitting on. Glue your flowers onto it using dimensionals.

5. Glue your die cut leaves onto your embossed front of card piece. Glue your border pieces onto the reverse of your card piece with the flowers on ( I found it easier to place the glue on the back of your card piece then you can line it up equally with both sides of your borders). Now you can peel the backing off of the adhesive sheet on the reverse of your borders, put glue where needed onto the middle reverse section of the flower piece and glue this flat onto the front of your card over the leaves. 

6. Stamp your sentiment and cut the edges of the card piece with an angle, glue it onto the daffodil delight piece of card and trim to leave a small edge showing. This is now glued on flat to your card front.

7. Using the non brush end of your stampin' blend colour your faceted gem and when dry adhere to the front of your card.
