Hydrangea Hill - You make me smile card

Hi everyone, thought I'd come on quickly and share with you all a very quick card I've made using the exquisite 'Hydrangea Hill' bundle. This set is gorgeous and you get a huge amount of stamps with it - 22 in total wow lots to be used.

The card is just a few simple steps so let me show you how I've done it...

Materials needed

Basic white thick cardstock

1 piece 4-1/8" x A4 length (UK) scored at 5-7/8" - card base

2 pieces 4" x 5-3/4" - for inside and front of card layers

Scrap piece - stamping and die cutting of the hydrangea and double leaf

Gorgeous grape classic ink pad

Old olive classic ink pad

Pastel pearls

Dimensionals

Card Instructions

Score and burnish the card base.

Stamp some of the double leaf and tiny leaf images onto one of the white layers and adhere to the inside of card.

Stamp the brush effect images onto the other white layer, using gorgeous grape and 2nd and 3rd generation of ink. Stamp the sentiment using first generation of ink and then adhere this to the front of the card.
Stamp the double leaf image and the whole flower image using Old olive ink and 1st generation of ink and then using the fill in images stamp this using 2nd generation, die cut these out, cut the flower head off as it's not needed.
Die cut the flower head using seaside spray card, die cut 3 lots of the tiny flowers out (this die is brilliant because it cuts 9 at a time), using the dsp. Attach these onto the blue flower giving them a squish in the middle using the scoring tool attached to the take your pick tool so that they stand up and give the flower a bit of dimension.

Attach the flower head to the card using dimensionals and then using glue attach the stem and the double leaf to the card.
Apply 3 of the pearls to the card and it's finished.

Said it was a quick project hope you liked it and maybe you might give it a go. Thanks for popping onto my blog and having a look I really do appreciate it. Take care till next time and keep crafting!  xx
