Male retro Happy Birthday card

Happy Wednesday everyone, thought I would come on very quickly and share a very quick male card with you all. I made this for a challenge that was set for us all over on Chatterbox Crafters, by Anne Ronsky. The group is open for all to join and you will find us over on Facebook, myself , Anne and Ruth Blackett.
So let's get on with this very simple card, I don't know about everyone else, but I do struggle to make male cards as easily as I do female ones, but I really loved how this one turned out and therefore thought I must share it with everyone! Don't know about you but it sort of reminded me of being a mod back in the day lol with the very retro look to it!

Materials needed:

Basic white thick cardstock
1 piece - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" scored in half at 4 1/8" this is the card base
1 scrap piece to die cut a circle frame out of
1 scrap piece to stamp and fussy cut out the sentiment

Smoky Slate cardstock
1piece 4" x 5 3/4" for the inside of the card
1piece 4 1/8" x 2" for the front of card layer
1 scrap piece for stamping and die cutting the tie

Basic Gray cardstock
1 scrap piece to die cut the circle out of

Well suited dsp
1 piece 1 1/2" x 3 5/8" for the front of card layer

Matte Black enamel dots
3 for the front of card

Card Instructions
1. Fold and burnish the card base.
2. Adhere the piece of cardstock to the inside of the card, and the layers for the front of the card using glue.
3. Adhere the white frame circle to the basic gray circle flat with glue and then attach the two circles glued together to the front of the card using dimensionals.
4. Stamp and die cut the tie twice as you need to cut an extra knot out to give the tie more depth, attach the knot using a dimensional.
5. Attach the tie to the card using dimensional where needed and glue on the rest.
6. Stamp the sentiment and then fussy cut the words out separately and attach to the front of the card.
7. Add the enamel dots and the card is finished. Quick, simple but quite effective and great for a male birthday.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my blog post I really appreciate it.
