Vine design - Happy birthday

Good morning everyone, it's craft along tuesday, and I've been playing with the really beautiful Vine design bundle, and omg I'm loving the versatility of it. You can use the dies, which are exquisite, alongside with the stampset or on its own, the choice is yours.

Today I've done a card using the rectangle die, but I have made cards with the other dies which I will show you at the end of my blog post.
So let's begin and you can see how easy it is to make a very pretty little card using very few things.............

Materials needed:

Very Vanilla thick cardstock
1pc - 14.8cm x 21cm scored on long side at 10.5cm for the card base

Very Vanilla cardstock
2pc - 10.1cm x 14.4cm for the front and inside of card layers

1pc - 7.4cm x 10.5cm for the die cut layer

1pc - approx 2.5cm x 10.5cm for the sentiment banner

Mint Macaron cardstock
1pc - 7.8cm x 10.9cm for the front of card layer

Calypso Coral cardstock
Scrap piece for die cutting flowers

So Saffron cardstock
Scrap piece for die cutting flowers

Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder
Calypso Coral classic stampin' pad
Mint Macaron classic stampin' pad
Mini Dimensionals
Multipurpose liquid glue

Card recipe:

1. Fold and burnish the card base.
2. Emboss one of the very vanilla layers and glue to the front of the card, then glue the other piece to the inside, you can if you wish to stamp an image on to this piece before glueing it inside like I have, but it isn't necessary (the image I've used is from the Vine design stampset).

3. Now die cut the piece of Very vanilla cardstock so that the die is lined up in the centre, but don't get rid of the waste piece as this is going to be used......waste not want not as they say!
4. Glue the waste section flat on to the mint macaron piece of card making sure you leave an even border around the edges. Glue this piece flat to the front of the card.

5. After removing all of the waste pieces from the die cut rectangle, turn it over and once all of the flowers are die cut out from the calypso coral and the so saffron pieces glue all of them in to place over the corresponding flowers (only apply a very small dot of glue on to the centre of each flower on the very vanilla layer this will ensure that not too much glue is applied).

Reverse side

Front side

6. Place mini dimensionals on to each of the flowers on the reverse side and then this can be glued so that it sits inside the waste piece thats glued on to the mint macaron piece. Using the waste piece gives the ard a whole different look, it seems to fill it out more.
7. After having die cut the banner section out stamp the sentiment on to it. I've masked up the 'happy birthday' and used the two different colours of ink for each word. This now needs 1 mini dimenional onto the left side of it and glue on the rest and attached to the front of the card.

That is the card finished, I loved how easy it was to make and how beautiful these dies look on the front of your cards. Here are the other cards I've made using this bundle.....

Circle die used flowers glued on top.

2 rectangles used side by side

Oval used along with layered oval die and only 2 colours

Oval again no dry embossing colour card base instead of vanilla
My favourite just loved how this one turned out.

Well that's it for todays blog hope enjoyed it, thankyou so much for popping on and having a look take care everyone see you next time.
