Today I have a fun fold card for you called a half pinwheel tower card. It's a really appealing card to the eye but quite simple to acheive. I've made two for you using this fold, don't know whether you noticed but they are folding the opposite ways to each other, this is also easy to acheive, you just decide once the two sections are glued together and forming the cube on one side, which way round you'd like them to sit.
For both of the cards you start with two pieces of cardstock ..........
1pc - 5 7/8" x 7 1/16" scored on longside at 1", 2", 3" and 4" these score lines are then folded and burnished and glued in on themself to form the cube,
then the other piece of cardstock which measures 3 1/16" x 5 7/8" is glued onto the side panel of the cube.
You now decide which way round you'd like the card to sit and cut all of your layers 1/8" smaller than the card sections measure attach them all to the card and have fun decorating, all that I've used for my two cards are listed below for you.
close ups and how it looks folded flat for envelope!
both sides of this card were decorated!
Hope you have fun making one of these, try it and see how addictive it is as it's so easy to acheive! Thanks for stopping by and having a look at my blog I'd love if you left me a comment and subscribed to my blog, this will ensure you see my posts everytime they're published.
Until next time
