Whale of a time - unfolding box

Hi everyone and what a glorious day we are having here in Witham Essex UK it's absolutely beautiful, bit hot but still beautiful.
Well today I thought I'd share with you all how to make this amazing folding box. It's not my idea I saw a lady called Brigette Keiling showing on a facebook group and she showed us all a short video of how it worked, not how you made it though, although I'm not sure if she might have done a Youtube video for it now, anyway after sitting and working out how I thought she'd made it (she had used the cute little Zany Zebras) I thought I'd share with you all what I came up with.

Card recipe:

Whisper white cardstock 12" x 12"

1pc - 6" x 12" scored on the 6" side @ 2" and 4"
Scored on the 12" side @ 2", 4" 8" and 10"
then you need to score @ 6" but only to the first score line and do this on both top and bottom. Now cut up all of these score lines along the longside as in picture.

 1pc - 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" score @ 2 1/16" on all four sides

Now you need to cut this as in the picture below

You can decorate your box with any dsp and coloured card just make sure you cut all of your layers smaller than the one before. When adding elements to your inside, just be aware that the sides all have to fold flat onto each other in order to close, so check before you stick.
I will leave a list of products I used so that you can pop over  to my on line shop with Stampin' Up and order products if you so wish.
Enjoy the rest of the beautiful weather whilst it lasts and I will see you all again soon.
Big crafty hugs
Natalie xx
