New Forever Greenery

Good morning everyone,
Well it's Tuesday again and I can't believe we're already in to June where has the time gone?
Hope everyone is ok and feeling positive about everything.
Today I thought I'd share a few of the new products with you all, which excitingly are being released tomorrow 3rd June wahoo can't wait.
The card I've chosen today is a simple fold card, I just wanted to use this beautiful new suite 'Forever Greenery' at the moment I think this is one of my favourites, but give it time I might change my mind lol.

Materials I've used are:

Whisper white thick cardstock - 140490

1pc 4 1/8" x 11 1/2" scored on longside at 5 3/4"  -  card base
1pc 1 5/8" x 5 5/8" for front strip layering
Scrap piece for die cutting sentiment piece

Pretty Peacock cardstock  - 150886

1pc 4" x 5 5/8" for the front of card (embossed)
1pc 1 1/4" x 5 5/8" for front strip layering
1 scrap piece for die cutting foliage

Just Jade cardstock

1pc 4" x 5 5/8" for inside of card (embossed)
1 Scrap piece for die cutting foliage

Silver foil sheets 132178

Scrap piece for die cutting foliage

Forever Greenery Dsp 152492

1pc 1" x 5 5/8 for front strip layering

Flowers for every season ribbon combo pack 153620

1pc to wrap the ends round the dsp
1pc to tie knot onto the ribbon across front of card

Greenery embossing folders 152716 for all embossed pieces

Forever fern stampset 152559  for sentiment stamping
Forever flourishing dies 152714 for all die cut foliage elements
Forever fern bundle 154094 (saving 10% if buying both)

Ornate Frames dies 150664 for the sentiment die cut element

2020 -2021 Enamel dots 152480

After having cut your card base scoring it and folding it, you then need to cut your pieces for the front and inside of your card. Now emboss these pieces as shown in the pictures below, stamp your sentiment for the inside piece and then glue these pieces on the front and the inside of your card base. Die cut your sentiment piece and stamp with your chosen sentiment.

Now you need to cut all your pieces for the layering on the front of card. Wrap the ribbon round the edges of dsp piece and use tear and tape to hold in place, glue all of your foliage pieces in to place on reverse of your layers (in picture below), before you glue all your layers together.

Now you can glue the layered piece to the front of your card, tie the knot on to the ribbon using a smaller piece of ribbon, give the sentiment element a slight curve, and then glue on to the front of your card, just putting glue on to the ends. Place an Enamel dot on to the sentiment piece, and your card is finished. Simple card, but I do love the colours and the lovely effects you get using the new embossing folders.
