All things fabulous

Hi everyone on this very wet and horrible wednesday afternoon here in Essex. I thought I'd cheer you all up and show you what I've made today using a technique called the Bubble wrap technique. It's a very quick and easy technique to use, and as those who know me will know, I'm not a messy crafter, never have liked getting messy, so this was great for me!!
Within my Stampin' Up! team that I belong to our leader set this technique as our weekly challenge, I loved it so much I thought I'd share it with you all.

I've started with a base card - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" scored on longside @ 5 7/8"
The next layer is 4" x 5 3/4" this is where you do the bubble wrap technique
The next 2 layers both measure 2 7/8" x 4"
The last layer measures 2 5/8" x 3 3/4"
The sentiment strip measures 3/4" x 3"
Scrap card for stamping and die cutting

On some bubble wrap, with the bubbles facing up (make sure it's bigger than your card piece), place ink from your ink pad all over, don't go too hard or it ends up in all of the gaps, as well as on the bubbles. Now place your card piece over the inked bubbles, carefully place a piece of paper over the top and gently rub, lifting the paper off carefully and then the card piece, you can now reveal what your inked card looks like, everytime is a bit different so it's always a surprise.
This piece of card can be glued to the front of your card base. Now at an angle glue your first piece of coloured card on to the front and then the second piece, twisting it so it's at a different angle. The white piece, which is where all of your stamped and die cut flowers will have been glued in to place, I lined this up with the same angle as the first coloured piece of card. Now you need to just stamp your sentiment and glue this in to place. I finished my card off with a few basic pearls, giving it a nice finish.

This is how you stamp your flower image, starting with the lightest colour first, I inked it up stamped it off twice and then I stamped image on to scrap card. The next image you ink up stamp off once and then you line it up with the first image and stamp it. Third image you stamp straight on to the other images and this will be your darkest colour. You can use different colour inks I chose to just use the one colour with different shades of it.
The leaves are just stamped and then die cut out along with the flowers.

Hope this has helped brighten up your day a bit. Thanks for popping by and taking a look at my blog, be lovely if you left a comment. Take care till next time.

Big crafty hugs
Natalie x
